Job Summary | The primary purpose of this role is to assist the Ethnic Studies Staff Office, faculty, students, and the general public with advisement appointments, Ethnic Studies programs, and processes. We are seeking a dependable student assistant who is organized, computer savvy, flexible, and has a positive attitude. The student will perform a range of office support assignments while being exposed to new methods, processes, and procedures. Student Assistants will work under the direct supervision of the ASC II and ASA II of the Ethnic Studies department, completing the clerical work tasks: Assisting office staff with filing, answering the front desk phone, assisting staff replying to general question emails, and other front office duties. |
Minimum Qualifications | Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position. |
