Job Description:The Department of Political Science is recruiting a part-time Federal Work Study (FWS) and other undergraduate students to join its team starting Fall 2026 during the Academic Year 2026-2027. Student assistants are responsible for assisting in the administration of departmental activities and providing a welcoming environment for students, faculty, and visitors. Applicants should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work independently. Knowledge of Qualtrics, various social media platforms, MS Excel and MS Word are preferred. Work hours are flexible up to 20 hours a week between the hours of 8 am-4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Expected Salary:

$15.00/hr

Required Qualifications:Must be a registered UF student with Federal Work Study eligibility.
Preferred:
  • Applicant should posses strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be detail oriented.
  • Can work independently.
  • Knowledge of Qualtrics and various social media platforms.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
