Summary
To support operations of the Kuhlin Hub for Career Design and Connections and Student Employment Services by providing excellent customer service, processing documents, participating in Kuhlin Hub events, completing clerical tasks, utilizing office technology/programs, and projects as assigned.

Essential Functions
- Answer basic questions (by phone, email, in person) regarding Student Employment and Kuhlin Hub programs, services, processes, policies, and procedures by following established and standardized procedures
- Operate office machines such as multi-use phone line, photocopier, faxing by computer, and desktop computers
- Assist students with basic job search process for on campus positions through the Student Employment Portal
- Assist with staff, student, and alumni appointments based on established guidelines
- Access Kuhlin Hub databases and University systems to retrieve information, answer inquiries, and assist onboarding for domestic and international student employees
- Assist with Kuhlin Hub events and programs by organizing event-day materials, posting, and distributing materials, setting up and taking down displays, staffing events, and running errands
- Assist with special projects as directed by designated members of the Kuhlin Hub staff
- Promote Kuhlin Hub programs and services at outreach and recruiting events when necessary
- Must be available to work occasional evening and weekend events; attend mandatory training sessions and staff meetings; and dress appropriately in accordance with department standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to speak clearly, using appropriate grammar
- Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
- Good teamwork and collaboration skills
- Must be detail oriented, possess strong multi-tasking skills and be self-motivated
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams)
- Maintain confidentiality of written, print, and electronic records
- Abide by FERPA, Fair Labor Standards and Equal Opportunity Law
- Ability to interact and represent the Kuhlin Hub and Student Employment effectively and appropriately
- Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week

- Applicant must have Tuesday/Thursday afternoon availability.
