Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Our Semel Institute is seeking a part-time Student Assistant to support the Human Resources Department. You will provide essential administrative and clerical support to our HR office. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Perform document management, data entry, and file maintenance
  • Distribute and process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Provide front office support, including greeting visitors and answering calls
  • Assist with maintaining accurate and organized HR records
  • Track tasks and project progress
  • Support daily HR operations while ensuring compliance

Salary range: $18.50/hr - $27/hr

Job Qualifications

Must be a current UCLA student

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments

Basic proficiency with office equipment, including photocopiers, fax machines, telephone systems, and computers

Organizational skills to effectively manage files and data
