Overview:
The Student Assistant (Training Unit) works with Auburn University Outreach’s Government & Economic Development Institute (GEDI) to support professional training courses and workshops. This role helps with preparing materials, organizing supplies, and assisting with online and in‑person training logistics. It’s a great opportunity for students interested in gaining hands‑on experience in event support, office operations, and training coordination.
Responsibilities:
Photocopy, print, and assemble course packets and training resources
Assist with grading course exams and processing participant evaluations
Track, organize, and restock training supplies
Support mass mailings and maintain training‑related data and records
Assist with Canvas course pages and hybrid or online course setup
Provide general administrative support and assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Enrolled Auburn University student
- Ability to work 15 hours per week during normal work hours
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Detailed oriented
- Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively while meeting deadlines on multiple projects
Pay Range:
USD $10.00 - USD $10.00 /Hr.
