Job Summary

The Intramural Sports Student Assistant plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the competitive sports program. This includes assisting with event coordination, officiating when needed, managing equipment, and fostering a safe, fun, and inclusive environment. Staff members help ensure all games and tournaments run smoothly while upholding program policies, fairness, and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

Current University of West Georgia student
Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours
Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
Valid driver¿s license

Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
Ability to work in active, fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

Customer service experience
Basic knowledge of rules for offered sports
Previous experience in sports, recreation, or leadership roles (preferred but not required)
