You'll prepare meals that meet the highest culinary standards while adhering to federal, state, and corporate regulations. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where quality food and service are key! Anticipated start date in July.Key Responsibilities:* Food Preparation: Prepare high-quality meals according to standardized recipes and production schedules to meet delivery and service timelines.* Portioning & Service: Serve meals or prepare items for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, proper temperatures, and that food is visually appealing and delicious.* Cleanliness & Organization: Clean kitchen areas after meal preparation and service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Store or discard any excess food following safe food-handling procedures.* Inventory & Storage: Keep refrigerators, storerooms, and kitchen spaces clean and well-organized. Ensure food and supplies are stored properly to maintain freshness and minimize waste.* Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate kitchen equipment safely and according to instructions. Report any maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.* Safety Compliance: Attend in-service and safety meetings to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe work environment.* Team Collaboration: Work closely with coworkers, administrators, and managers to ensure smooth operations and the consistent delivery of quality meals.* Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the dining services.Qualifications:* Culinary Experience: Previous culinary experience is required, with a strong understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations.* Certifications: Must have or be willing to complete ServSafe Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Safety Certification.* Positive Attitude: A team player with a positive attitude, ready to contribute to a collaborative work environment.* Physical Ability: Ability to lift and move 50 lbs of kitchen supplies or food items.* Teamwork: Ability to work well with others, creating a positive, supportive environment for all staff and team members.Full Time & Part Time Positions Available:* 1st Shift: 4am - 12pm** 2nd Shift: 7am - 3pm** 3rd Shift: 2pm - 10pm** Shift times are subject to change based on client need and team member's availability.Apply to Levy today!Levy is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
