The Auburn University Bee Center is looking to hire an undergraduate student for a honey bee or native bee technician position. The new hire will assist with bee-related research mainly outdoors under typical (hot and humid) Alabama conditions although some laboratory work is also expected. The technician will encounter stinging insects. An interest in insects/plants is preferred. The new hire should have an eagerness to learn new skills and the ability to work in often difficult physical environments.
