Student Candidate

As a Student Candidate, you'll join a community that is invested in your success before you ever step into a treatment room. Your education gives you the foundation, and we want to help you turn that knowledge into a thriving, sustainable career.

For 23 years, Ojas has been a locally owned, female-founded wellness center serving the Baltimore community. Our founder is a massage therapist herself, so she knows firsthand the excitement, the questions, and the challenges that come with moving from the classroom to a professional practice. That understanding shapes everything we do, especially how we support our therapists.

What you can expect as a Student Candidate:

• Real-world career insight: Regular communications featuring practical examples of what a successful massage therapy career looks like, from building a loyal client base to caring for your body so you can do this work for the long haul.
• Tips to help you finish strong: Guidance on applying what you're learning in school, preparing for licensing, and building confidence in your hands-on skills.
• A look inside Ojas: Stories from our team about how our hands-on training helps new graduates bridge the gap between school and practice, and how ongoing education keeps their skills sharp throughout their careers.
• Motivation and encouragement: School is demanding. We'll be in your corner with reminders of why this work matters and where it can take you.
