Monitor events, including event and tech set-up. Manage onsite facility and customer relations to include resolving conflicts and issues. Serve as a point-of-contact with guests who are utilizing meeting space to ensure needs are met. Open and/or close the student center. Assist with facility setups.

Minimum Qualifications

• Service-oriented position; requires a high degree of customer service through constant interaction with members of the university, community, and the general public.
• 2.0 or higher GPA in Good Standing.
• Must be available to participate in mandatory training sessions.
• 1 semester or more of Student Center student employee experience (Info Center, Games Zone, etc.).
• CPR, First Aid, AED certified.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with events and conferences

Demonstrated ability to solve problems independently and in consultation with colleagues

High degree of customer service skills

Proficient and demonstrated knowledge of emergency procedures
