Summary

To provide front desk support to TRIO Programs.

Essential Functions

  • Daily activity at reception desk including answering telephones/emails, greeting guests, making advisor appointments, mail distribution
  • Responsible for some printing/coping/scanning, mailings and light typing
  • Maintaining and organizing office supply inventory
  • Provide support as needed to full time staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Preference will be given to current student participants in one of the four TRIO Programs
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proficient customer service skills (written and verbal communication skills)
  • Must be responsible, dependable and able to work independently
  • Able to work in an organized manner with attention to detail
  • Student must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to FERPA standards
