Job Description Summary

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:

The Shawnee State University Foundation supports fundraising activities for the university by managing various campaigns, grant services, and donor clubs.

POSITION SUMMARY, ROUTINE TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The SSUF is posting a Foundation Student Assistant position for FY26-27. This position will support SSUF operations by providing bookkeeping and reporting support, processing gifts, maintaining database information, working in accounting software, and assisting with preparation of financial reports; as well as other related duties as assigned.

• Must maintain confidentiality due to personal and sensitive information in the office. A Business, Accounting, or MBA student would be best suited for this position.

Minimum Qualifications

• Registered full-time SSU student
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and follow instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms
• Follow SSU dress code policy
