SALARY: County Supplement of $1200

DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to serve as the Student Council Advisor at

Gilmer County High/Middle. The Student Council Advisor will play a vital role in supporting and guiding

student leaders in planning and executing various school events, fostering a positive and inclusive school

culture, and providing mentorship to the student council members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with student council members to plan and organize events such as assemblies, fundraisers, dances, and community service projects.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to student leaders, helping them develop skills in leadership, teamwork, and communication.
• Attend regular student council meetings to offer guidance, facilitate discussions, and ensure projects are progressing smoothly.
• Assist in the recruitment and selection of student council members, ensuring a diverse and representative group.
• Act as a liaison between the student council, school administration, and faculty to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• Help develop and manage the student council budget, ensuring financial resources are used efficiently and effectively.
• Foster a positive and inclusive school culture by promoting student voice, involvement, and representation.
• Support student council members in resolving conflicts and addressing concerns in a constructive manner.
