JOB DESCRIPTION

Craftworker Aide

Hourly Pay Rate: $10.00 - $15.00

The Craftworker Aide will support the department/organization with various maintenance and operational tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the general usage of the lab, being aware who is using the equipment and tools.
• Cleaning and maintenance of equipment
• Supporting fabrication projects
• Working with students and faculty on projects and assignments
• Assisting with general equipment maintenance of the various tools and equipment in the shop
• Managing inventory and checkout of portable tools
• Keeping the wood shop clean

Qualifications:

• Active enrollment as a student at Tulane University A Federal Work Study Award (potentially)
• Enrollment in a particular academic program or course of study (potentially)
• Prior experience with various equipment used in the lab such as sewing machines, saws, etc. (potentially)
