Position Description

ADC employees will encourage the learning process and engage with other students. Duties will be assigned to support the mission of the Academic Development Center.

Position Responsibilities

49% - Support management of Academic Development Center25% - Assist ADC staff in the planning and oversight of Academic Development Center activities16% - Assist ADC staff with study groups, promotion of events, and student communications10% - Provide peer support of academic skills

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience - None required; General office skills preferredEducation - High School or GED graduateOther Skills - Ability and knowledge of computer programs (Word, Excel); Ability to keep accurate and confidential records; Interpersonal skills to assist students

Physical Requirements

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

This position pays $9.00/hour
