Preferred Student Classification Nature & Purpose of Position

The CARE Network Student Employee supports the daily operations and outreach efforts of the CARE Network by assisting with administrative tasks, student engagement initiatives, event support, and resource promotion. This position helps expand awareness of campus support services, enhances the CARE Network's capacity to serve students, and provides meaningful professional development opportunities in student affairs and higher education support services.

Other Requirements for the Position

• Previous experience in customer service, peer mentoring, leadership, student organizations, or campus employment.
• Interest in higher education, student affairs, social services, counseling, psychology, public health, or related fields.
• Experience with event planning, marketing, social media management, or data entry.
• Knowledge of campus resources and a passion for helping students navigate support systems.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy when handling records, data, and administrative tasks.
• Experience providing administrative support and assisting with office operations in a professional environment.
• Ability to assist with Dean of Students' Office initiatives, projects, programs, and daily operational tasks.
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned in support of the CARE Network and Dean of Students' Office mission and goals.
