Position Summary

The Catalyst Campus Assistant is responsible for providing office support, customer service, and event/class preparation for the MCC Catalyst Campus in downtown Woodstock. The MCC Catalyst Campus is home to the Community Enrichment Center, Talent Impact Center, Small Business Development Center, and the University Center.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Assist with class and special event preparation
• Greet students, instructors, and community members
• Answer phones and respond to emails
• Provide basic program, college, and community information to guests
• Assist with special projects including mailings
• Assist with basic technology needs in classrooms
• Provide classroom support during classes, including virtual class assistance
• Research future program and class opportunities
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be enrolled in 6 credit hours at MCC
• Must hold a minimum of a 2.0 GPA (If youre a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived)

Desired Qualifications:

• Bilingual
• Knowledge of MCC Programs and local Woodstock community
