Position Introduction: The Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History is seeking a part-time Student Communications & Media Assistant for summer 2026, and the 2026–2027 academic year to assist in growing our media presence on a variety of platforms. The individual selected will work with the museum’s PR & Marketing Officer and museum staff to gather content for internal and external communications, including but not limited to, the website, social media, and e-newsletters. Additional responsibilities include sharing content to engage our audience via social media and promote natural and cultural history. Responsibilities will include other duties as assigned. The student assistant will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the technical ability to design or produce content and share it with our audience. Some interest in and familiarity with journalism will be necessary to understand and accurately disseminate information. |
