Workweek

Up to 20 hours per Week | Schedule will vary depending on students class schedule.

Position Summary

Assist Food Services staff with food preparation, serving customers, and keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• To assist the Food Services department with daily stocking and service needs, as well as some basic food preparation assistance
• Restock beverages and supplies for the MCC Cafe during service
• Assist department staff with simple food preparation needs
• Assist department staff with service in MCC Cafe.

Required Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester
• Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above (if first semester student, GPA requirement is waived)
• If student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.

Skills and Specifications:

• Ability to sit, walk, and stand up to 4 hours
• Position requires frequent bending, stretching, and lifting
