Workweek

Up to 20 Hours Per Week | Schedule will vary based on the student's/students' availability.

Position Summary

Provide assistant to the IT department.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Ability to work and assist with special projects with IT team mentors
• Research requirements for new or modified desktop software requests
• Troubleshooting and remediation of desktop hardware, software, audio visual, and network connectivity issues
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and direction
• Ability to provide quality telephone customer service
• Ability to use computing devices and peripherals for extended periods of time

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be enrolled in 6 credit hours at MCC
• Must hold a minimum of a 2.0 GPA (If you're a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived)

• Bilingual

Skills and Specifications:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, reception, and telephone skills
• Ability to use Microsoft products and o?ce equipment
• Must be able to push or lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to sit, walk, and stand up to 4 hours
• Ability to use Microsoft Office 365 products
• Ability to use office equipment (copier, multi-line phone, etc.)
