JOB DESCRIPTION

Ushers - Students interested in this will meet patrons at the door, scan tickets, and help patrons to their seats. They will also make sure that programs are available for distribution and check the hall after performances for trash and lost items.

Recording/Streaming Technicians - Students interested in this will be required to train with our department head, Darin Kamstra, to properly use equipment in Love Recital Hall and the Asteria theatre. They are responsible for setting up all recording and streaming equipment prior to performances, as well as managing the audio/video recordings following the performance. They will archive the recordings, making them available on department-run platforms

Shell Assembly - Students interested in this will be required to train with the staff in Asteria theatre to learn how to safely assemble and disassemble the concert shell, before and after events as needed. They may also receive basic A/V training in that space

Office Assistant/Librarian - Students interested in this may be assigned to administrative assistants or faculty in the music department to aid in administrative tasks
