Job Description:

  • Inventory all active Fortinet appliances across BRSW sites, capturing hardware model, firmware version, and managed policy sets
  • Work with network team to analyze existing Fortinet rule sets and classify rules as active, redundant, or candidates for elimination
  • Assist with the development of a rule migration crosswalk document, mapping Fortinet policies to equivalent Palo Alto configurations
  • Support parallel-run testing where both firewalls process traffic before final cutover
  • Coordinate with site leads and IT Support on physical decommission scheduling and asset recovery
  • Update CMDB records in ServiceNow for all replaced and decommissioned Fortinet assets
  • Document lessons learned and contribute to post-migration review sessions

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be a full-time student pursuing a Bachelors Degree or a Masters Degree
  • Be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
