Job Summary:
This job posting is for a pooled position and will remain open for the 2026-2027 academic year. Student positions are filled each semester on a need-to-hire basis; applications are reviewed only when positions are available.
Student employees in the Center for Student Support-Student Life Department will assist with: writing stories, taking photos and various other duties associated with The Lookout, Lansing Community College's student newspaper.
Additionally, student employees in the position will:
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.
LCC policy requires all LCC employees to be residents of the State of Michigan and to perform all work (with limited exceptions) within the State of Michigan.
Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process.
Requirements for LCC Student Employment:
