Work with Faculty Director to promote the Institute via existing social media platforms
Develop social media content and campaigns for Institute sponsored initiatives
Work with Faculty Director to advertise and promote Institute programs and opportunities on campus
Assist the Faculty Director in representing the Institute at Open Houses, events, and other outreach opportunities
Provide event support as needed (e.g. speaker events, film screenings, etc.)
Additional opportunities and responsibilities for communication and media-based projects pending student interest/ability and Institute need
Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to work independently and take responsibility for projects
Good interpersonal communication skills
Strong writing and organizational skills
Experience working with digital audio and video editing programs
Experience with online design tools (e.g. Canva)
Experience with social media (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
Hours of Position:
To be determined with supervisor
