Student Employment | Café/Dr. Bens Team Member

SUMMARY:

The Dr. Ben’s student worker is a valuable part of the Bruce Lindsey Caf team, providing excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Operate daily coffee bar operations
• Make coffee drinks and serve cold/hot pastries
• Perform cashier related tasks and duties
• Maintain clean work areas including, coffee bar, coolers, cutlery/condiment station, dining area.
• Assist with restocking tasks and duties
• Assist in Bruce Lindsey Caf during high volume times
• Serve late night dinner as assigned

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Current student enrolled at Vanguard University in good standing.
• Vibrant belief in Jesus Christ with ample evidence of personal discipleship.
• Maintain minimum grade point average of 2.0 each term.
• Demonstrated commitment as a team player to support and collaborate with faculty, staff, peers, and external constituents, as well as the initiative and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that will result in effective collaboration.

COMPENSATION:

This position is up to 20 hours per week at a rate of $16.90 per hour.
