Support the Cheshire Community YMCA’s Health and Wellness Director in all aspects of the AAP program including:
Promotion and participant recruitment
Tracking participant testing results
Tracking participant attendance
Communicating with participants
Interact with volunteers, members, and community partners/businesses when needed
Learn about the different chronic disease programs and wellness classes offered by the Cheshire YMCA in order to better understand the AAP program and provide guidance to program participants
Qualifications:
Outgoing, friendly personality with excellent computer, oral, written and problem-solving skills
Work well independently, and provide excellent customer service to participants and partners
Must be organized and able to work effectively with volunteers and staff
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Hours of Position:
Student will be expected to work up to 6-8 hours per week Monday through Friday. Time of day varies by program that is being supported.
