Job Title:Columbus House Impact Interviewer
Department:Office of Community Engagement
Student Employment Type:Federal Work-Study        
Responsibilities:
  • Draft questions for use in client, community and employee interviews
  • Assist in identifying, reviewing and scheduling potential candidates for interviews
  • Draft stories based upon client, community and employee interviews to highlight the impact of Columbus Houses’ services
  • Assist in editing recorded interviews to utilize video segments and audio clips in social media content
  • Assist in developing social media content for various on-line platforms
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in relation to client services and information
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Hours of Position:
  • Student will be expected to work up to 6 hours per week between the hours of 9am – 4pm Monday through Friday.  Rare evening and weekend hours may be necessary to meet client availability.
