| Responsibilities: | - Provide on-site support for events, including morning, evening, and weekend coverage.
- Process incoming event requests and maintain accurate, up-to-date logistics records.
- Assist Event Managers with catering, audiovisual, facilities, setup, and data-entry requests.
- Check in with clients during events, confirm that logistics are being executed properly, and help resolve issues.
- Prepare conference materials, including packets, name tags, registration materials, and signage.
- Create event surveys, analyze results, and compile client testimonials.
- Provide professional guest service and respond to client and prospective participant inquiries in person, by phone, and by email.
- Create flyers, newsletters, social media content and other communications using Canva and similar tools.
- Organize and maintain departmental documents and support general administrative operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and collaborate on cross-department initiatives.
- Assist with light lifting and basic event setup when needed.
- Complete other related projects as assigned.

| Qualifications: | - Quick learner who is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable asking questions.
- Experience working independently with customers or clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain professional when addressing event-related issues.
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Organized, dependable, and attentive to detail; able to manage multiple tasks, adjust to changing priorities, and remain reliable for all accepted shifts.
- Interested in learning new programs, technology platforms, and event-management software; experience with Canva or similar design software is preferred.
- Ambitious and positive attitude; works well independently and as a member of a team.
- Available for occasional morning, evening, and weekend assignments and able to represent Quinnipiac University and the Conferences & Events department professionally at all times.
- Must have reliable personal transportation to travel to 3099 Whitney Avenue and event locations across all Quinnipiac University campuses.

| Hours of Position:
| Students may work up to 10 hours per week based on departmental needs, event schedules, and class commitments. Hours will include a mix of in-office administrative work and on-site event coverage. Assignments may occur during weekday business hours, early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Work hours and campus locations will vary by assignment. |
