Responsibilities:
Selected candidates will:
Support to students and faculty in the area of OT Process in Adults and Older Adults (OTM/OTD 524 & 524L).
Support to students and faculty in the area of Biomechanics Lab (OTM/OTD 528L).
Support the department with administrative duties and scholarly endeavors.
Qualifications:
Completed coursework in Occupational Therapy (OT, MOT, or OTD)
Have reliable transportation to the North Haven Campus
A strong ability to assume professional position of mentorship on behalf of OT peers.
An expressed desire to actively partake in the teaching\learning process on behalf of student success &\or the pursuit of research and other scholarly endeavors.
A demonstrated engagement in teaching\learning (ie.: tutoring) &\or scholarship is preferred.
A strong ability to complete faculty-assigned tasks given distant supervision in a timely fashion.
Ability to lift up to 10lbs as necessary (moving equipment to prepare for labs).
Hours of Position:
To be determined based on selected student schedule and department needs.
