Georgia Highlands College is a multi-campus, state college member of the University System of Georgia. Founded in 1970 as Floyd Junior College, it now serves more than 6,000 students in Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama across its five locations in Rome, Cartersville, Marietta, and Dallas. GHC currently offers over 30 areas of study with associate degree and bachelors degree options both in the classroom and online.

Job Summary
The Student Engagement Coordinator supports student involvement and success by coordinating programs and activities, supporting registered student organizations and student leaders, and contributing to engagement initiatives across GHC locations. This position is not available for remote work. This is an on-site position based out of our Cartersville campus.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties include:
Required Qualifications
Associate degree from an accredited institution.
One (1) year of experience in higher education, student services, academic support, or a related field.
Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.
Three (3) years experience in higher education, student services, academic support, or a related field.
Experience working with student information systems, CRM systems, LMS systems, or similar software.
Proposed Salary
This is a non-exempt position with a hiring range of $20.73 to $22.08 per hour, which annualizes to $43,125.33 to $45,926.40 per year. Compensation is based on experience.
