JOB SUMMARY

The Work Study Assistant supports the Serviam Institute for International Security by contributing to research, event support, simulations, and other operational activities that advance the Institute’s mission.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities may include support for simulation scenario design, background research, role materials, testing, live exercise execution, lessons-learned analysis, guest speaker coordination, and other projects that advance the Institute’s focus on policy innovation, real-world security training, and student development.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should have strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and a demonstrated interest in international security, foreign policy, or related fields. Experience with simulations or wargaming is required, and additional experience in research, event support, or writing is preferred.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Desired qualifications include familiarity with AI tools for game design, simulations or wargaming.
