Student - Fitness Center Attendant

Hours: Approximately 8-10 hours per week, a variety of shifts available during the day, night, and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Manage routine operations of the Fitness Center
• Provide feedback and assistance to patrons
• Promote a positive and safe environment, including addressing and reporting of inappropriate behavior and use of equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of the Fitness Center and equipment per established guidelines and schedules
• Report damaged or unsafe equipment to the Fitness Center supervisor or the Office of Student Affairs
• Provide courteous service and availability to patrons requesting or needing assistance
• Miscellaneous duties, including participation in all scheduled staff meetings and other duties as assigned by the Fitness Center Supervisor or the Dean of Students and Alumni Services

Requirements:

• A current NWHSU student in good academic standing required
• Reliable and schedule flexibility required
• Knowledgeable of weight room and equipment helpful
• Good organization skills
• Effective interpersonal communication skills
