Primary Duties and Responsibilities Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility The UCLA Semel Institute is seeking a Student Worker to support a research study sponsored by the National Institute of Mental Health. Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) or their designee, the incumbent will assist with a variety of administrative and study-related responsibilities.
Primary duties include: • Recording and organizing research data using Microsoft Excel • Assisting with basic data analysis • Coordinating print and online advertising efforts for study recruitment
Job Qualifications Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility Required: • Experience and proficiency in using SPSS and Microsoft Office software programs • Strong attention to detail • Registered as a UCLA student • Organizational skills to effectively manage files and data • Strong interpersonal/communication to convey confidentiality, sensitivity, and professionalism • Ability to consistently interact appropriately, diplomatically and positively with staff, faculty, and students. • Ability to work independently and to follow through on assignments with minimal direction • Strong English language skills in editing reports, correspondence and manuals • Ability to work effectively with under pressure, and with frequent interruptions, and changing priorities, to meet deadlines
