POSITION TITLE: Student Information Systems (SIS) Support Specialist I

STATUS: 8-hours per day, 260-days; Non-Exempt

PAY CATEGORY: IT 1

REPORTS TO: Director of Data & Student Information

An Student Information Systems (SIS) Support Specialist I provides student information systems support for employees, parents, and students. Candidates should have a mix of technical and customer service skills, and be passionate about helping people. Fox C-6 utilizes Infinite Campus and Spedtrack for student information services. Previous experience preferred, but not required.

Basic Function/Responsibilities:

Aid in the day-to-day operations of the Student Information System (SIS) and serve as a technical point of contact.

• Provide technical assistance and support for data system users (staff, students and parents) via telephone and email.
• Assist in creation of user accounts, management of passwords, and establishment of permissions within the SIS System.
• Support school and district web-based applications, including online enrollment and data verification.
• Train district personnel on utilizing the SIS, including other supporting data systems and applications.
• Aid in the development of data connections and sharing rules between the SIS and external educational software vendors.
• Other duties as assigned.
