Description

The Student Intern will play a direct role in shaping campus life while building real-world skills in event planning, communication, and leadership.

Examples of Duties

• Work closely with the Director to support registered student organizations (RSO's) and campus wide engagement initiatives
• Develop strong working knowledge of the RSA handbook and help ensure clubs understand and follow related policies
• Guide students through the process of starting a new club when there is interest or need
• Ensure club related policy documents, registration forms, and records are complete, accurate, and current
• Serve as a point of contact and relationship builder for campus partners who serve as club sponsors
• Support communication and coordination between clubs, sponsors, and the SEA Office
• Help identify gaps or opportunities for new engagement initiatives across campus relating to clubs, club membership, and participation in club events
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong leadership, relationship building, and communication skills
• Comfortable working closely with campus departments, faculty, and staff
• Interest in student organization support, policy, and campus engagement
• No prior experience required, willingness to learn is essential
