Job Summary / Purpose:

The Procurement & Supply Chain (P&SC) Strategy & Performance drives strategic initiatives that enhance Entergy's efficiency and long-term growth that enables the enterprise to transform the way We Power Life. While prioritizing safety, the Student Intern role works with a cross functional team to execute excellence on the day-to-day operational goals as well as on key initiatives being led by the Procurement & Supply Chain org. Key focus areas include support of P&SC's Risk & Compliance team as well as other Strategy & Performance or P&SC teams.

This internship is designed to give college students practical work experience in their field of study. This position is ideal for someone with a major in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Accounting with a desire to work in the utility industry.

Job Duties / Responsibilities include:

Working in a team environment to assist in day-to-day activities, including but not limited to:

• Assist in implementing the Risk & Compliance strategy and Plan (some nuclear function work may be included).
• Compile and articulate best practices in third party management, including risk segmentation, supply chain risk & intelligence, and performance to enable the business to plan and respond to changing external trends
• Engage with other P&SC teams and internal/external stakeholders to execute third party management initiatives.
• Utilizing AI to perform other essential and ancillary duties as assigned by management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position:

• Candidates must be actively enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree with a major in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Accounting from a four-year institution.
• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale), verified through an official transcript from the previous semester.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:

• Motivated, self-starter with a results driven approach
• Ability to interpret data and produce insights (AI abilities are a plus)
• Excellent communicator (both written and verbal)
• Strong ability to adapt to change
• Technically proficient in Excel, Access, Word, Outlook and PowerBI
