Overview:

Exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented student to gain hands-on experience in anatomical specimen preparation at Auburn University's anatomy lab; contribute to critical lab operations through bone box preparation, skeleton reconstruction, and workshop support. The student selected for this position must be enrolled in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at AU College of Veterinary Medicine.

Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with the preparation of lab specimens for Fall semester
  • Setting up gross anatomy lab for summer workshop sessions and cleaning lab after each session to prepare for the next session
  • Ensuring bone boxes are stocked and ready for Fall classes
  • Precision animal skeleton reconstruction through plastination and other techniques
  • Collaborating on other gross anatomy projects as needed
Qualifications:

Student enrolled in DVM program at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine
