Student, Laboratory Assistant, Collision Repair & Restoration

Overview

The student will assist Collision Repair and Restoration faculty during laboratory hours and help maintain laboratory equipment cleanliness and maintenance.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

• Current Penn College student. Required
• Enrolled or previously enrolled in a Collision Repair and Restoration degree program. Required

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Valid and in State Valid Driver''s License. Required

EXPERIENCE

• Evidence of successful collision-related work experience. Preferred
• Evidence of successful automotive-related work experience. Preferred

ABILITIES AND SKILLS

• Possess basic knowledge of and aptitude for working with Automotive and/or Collision Repair equipment. Required
• Ability to follow directions and procedures. Required
• Possession of a valid driver''s license. Required

Responsibilities

Assist faculty during lab hours. Assist instructor in setting up lab activities. Assist during off campus car shows, demonstrations and other activities. Assist with maintaining laboratory equipment cleanliness and maintenance Transport supplies, equipment, and vehicles to and from museums and events related to the programs.

Physical Standards and Special Job Features

Occasional heavy lifting not to exceed 50 pounds.

Pay Transparency

$10.00 per hour.
