Job Description

Job Title: Student Lunchroom Supervisor
Location: Lindop School District 92
Reports To: Assistant Principal
Assignment: 10-month
Position Summary:
The student Lunchroom supervisor creates a safe, clean, and supportive environment for students
during scheduled lunch and recess periods, structures play, wipes tables, and maintains proximity
during supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
? Structure play at recess and actively participate in play with children.
? Wipe up tables after lunch.
? Able to walk quickly and run lightly to respond to student needs on the playground.
? Supervise students in the lunchroom and during recess to ensure a safe and respectful
environment.
? Assist younger students with opening food packages and containers and navigating cafeteria
routines.
? Support food service staff by assisting with meal serving when needed.
? Set up and clean lunchroom tables before, during, and after each lunch period.
? Monitor and rotate outdoor recess duty (approximately 1 hour/day in shifts).
? Recess is held indoors when the temperature or wind chill is below 25 F.
? Follow the monthly duty assignment schedule.
? Assist with storing tables and equipment after lunch periods conclude.
? Interact with students, staff, and families positively, professionally, and courteously.
? Follow and support all District 92 policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
? Perform other related duties as assigned by the Lunchroom Supervisor or school
administration.
Workdays: Aligned with the Lindop School District 92 academic calendar
Hours: 10:15-1:15
Pay Rate: $19.00
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
? Must pass a state and federal background check (including fingerprinting).
? Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
? Ability to walk quickly and run lightly.
? Ability to structure play and proactively engage children.

? Demonstrated ability to supervise and positively engage with children in an educational
setting.
? Dependable, punctual, and able to work scheduled hours consistently.
? Prior experience working in a school or with children is preferred but not
