Pay Range: Targeted Salary: $9.75 - $13.00 per hour, based on experience

Position Introduction:

This position is for employment during Summer 2026 semester.

Facilities Maintenance student employees are responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of Sarkeys Fitness Center and other Fitness and Recreation facilities, including recreational fields.

Job duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms and locker rooms, and
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Will respond during emergency situations.
  • Customer service.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
  • Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

Skills:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Required Certifications and Licenses:

  • Must have a current/valid driver''s license
  • Selected applicants will be required to become CPR/AED certified through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Training will be provided by the hiring department.
