Classification Title:

Student Marketing Assistant

Classification Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work 15-20 hours per week.
  • Valid Florida Driver's license.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Job Description:

  • Providing education while engaging audiences through compelling content.

  • Manage relationships, engage with students and various campus departments via social media

  • Monitor trends

  • Create content calendars

  • Participate in collaborative campaigns

  • Creating content for the Business Services website, including press releases, feature stories, photo and video

  • Coordinating activities and representing Business Services as a key ambassador at informational sessions and tabling.

  • Promoting Business Services projects and campaigns around campus, via social media, canvassing, tabling at orientation, or through other creative outlets.

  • Managing relationships and engaging with students and various campus departments via social media:

  • Monitor trends

  • Create content calendars

  • Participate in collaborative campaigns

  • Creating content for the Business Services website, including press releases, feature stories, photo and video.

Normal Work Schedule:

15 - 20 hours per week, flexible schedule

Expected Salary:

$15.00- $16.00 Hourly

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to work 15-20 hours per week.
  • Valid Florida Driver's license.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Preferred:

  • University of Florida student currently enrolled in Marketing, Communications or similar field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Qualtrics, WordPress, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and Canva.
  • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments as needed.
