Position Announcement
Are you fascinated by how search engines work? Do you like diving into data to solve complex puzzles? Our campus project consulting group is seeking an analytical, data-minded Student SEO Consultant to facilitate the organic search and website visibility overhaul for a client. In this role, you will be the data anchor of the marketing team. You will audit the client groups current website, identify the exact search terms students use to find resources, and restructure their web content to improve their search engine ranking (SERPs). You will turn raw web traffic data into an actionable strategy that drives real, organic growth. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary group of students, contribute to team and client meetings, and work on specific deliverables to finish projects within an 8-12-week timeframe. Team members will be paid.
About e2i

Projects are provided by companies or entrepreneurial UVU students, and teams are assembled to work under the guidance of a student project manager to complete these projects-mirroring real-world industry practices. Each project typically lasts between 8 and 12 weeks, giving team members condensed, high-impact professional experience.

Utah Valley University was established in 1941 as Central Utah Vocational School (CUVS) with the primary function of providing war production training. CUVS was part of the Provo School District located in south Provo. The institution received a state appropriation in March 1945 of $50,000 to operate for the 1945-1947 biennium. In 1947, the school received funding as a permanent state institution. A new site for the school was acquired on University Avenue in Provo in 1948; in the 1952, the state appropriated funding for the first construction on that site. As enrollments grew, the state acquired over 185 acres in southwest Orem and the first building was completed in 1977. Today, the University’s facilities consist of a combined total of 412 acres with 50 buildings with campuses in Orem, Provo, and Heber City and property in Vineyard and at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi.
