Hours:
- Approximately 6 hours per week
- Labs – Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 9:50 a.m., 10:30 a.m. - 11:50 a.m., 1:00 p.m. - 2:50 p.m.
Duties:
- Assist T3 students within the lab as they learn both interpretation of palpation findings and adjusting technique for the thoracic and cervical spine
- Assess adjustment skills of students during lab on Microsoft Forms
- Provide feedback on palpation and adjusting performance
- Assist during competency evaluations and practical exams
- Practice all lab protocols for sanitization and protection
- Clean and organize lab after lab sessions
Requirements
- A current student in the College of Chiropractic at NWHSU in good academic standing
- Successful completion of Chiropractic Methods 1-3
- T4 or higher tri-level student
- Must be able to commit to a full 1.5-hour lab session
- Must be available Weeks 6, 9, and 12 for competency evaluations
- Able to convey clear and accurate explanations to students
- Must be available for at least 1 hour during the scheduled practical exam at the end of the trimester
