Position Summary:
Student notetakers for disability accommodations are responsible for attending classes, taking comprehensive and legible notes (handwritten or typed), and emailing the notes within the agreed time to the Law School Dean of Students. The student notetaker must maintain strict confidentiality and capture key lecture content/discussions.

Essential Functions:
-Attendance and Participation: Consistently attend all lectures, labs, or seminars for the assigned course.
-Content Capture: Take detailed, accurate, and organized notes that include instructor, board work, and class discussions.
-Timely submission: Email notes within the agreed time to the Law School Dean of students.
-Confidentiality: Maintain the privacy of the student receiving the accommodation.
-Communication: Immediately notify the Law School Dean of Students if they are unable to attend a class or if there are issues with the accommodation.
Required Qualifications:
-Must be a current student at Washburn School of Law.
-Legibility: Notes must be clear, well-organized, and easily understandable.
-Accuracy: Accurately summarize lecture content and key points.
-Formatting: Submit notes in requested formats (e.g., PDF, Word, JPEG).
