Miami Dade College is now accepting applications for Student Opportunity Coordinator. The Student Opportunity Coordinator assists the students to obtain the wraparound services provided by the College and third-party agencies. This position supports the students with services to ensure retention in the program and transition to workplace readiness and post-secondary education.
What you will be doing:
Facilitates student access to wraparound services as part of the program in an effort to optimize student success.
Identifies student needs, coordinates access and delivery of services.
Reports service outcomes to departmental staff.
Communicates with instructors to monitor student retention and completion, post-testing and transition to workplace or postsecondary education.
Monitors individual student retention and completion of Integrated Education and Training programs.
Serves as a resource to campus administrators, staff, and committees as they identify, develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate resources for students.
Collaborates with workforce agencies and college programs to deliver benefits for the students.
Assists with student admissions and registration during peak period.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience.
All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution.
