Advertising Summary: School of Nursing seeks a Student Program Coordinator for our undergraduate program. This is a 12-month full-time, administrative position requiring on-campus, in-person leadership.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Provides students with scholarship opportunities and application requirements; Refers students to the financial aid office for complex cases; Reaches out to scholarship recipients (for Nightingale Scholarships awarded by the New Mexico Center for Nursing Excellence) and distributes awards; Participates in orientation sessions for all students in the nursing program; Tracks student interactions with program administrators and academic advisors; Schedules and attends outreach events (university and college tabling events, clinical partner meetings) as a representative of the School of Nursing; Presents program information to prospective students and families; Prepares information and supplies needed for community and university events; Coordinates department visits and tours for campus visitors/departments and prospective students and their families; Responds to inquiries from prospective students by phone, email and in-person meetings; Updates outreach materials for university, college and community events.; Assists students in completing clinical compliance requirements and submits student information for annual background checks; Runs various student reports for quality assurance; Works closely with Assistant Director for Student Success in the School of Nursing to provide information to students related to tutoring, support services, and related workshops
Required Education and Experience:
High School diploma + 1 years of relevant experience, or higher degree.
