Birmingham Public Schools is seeking a Student Programming Coordinator.
This is a 10-month, 30 hour a week position from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for each child.
- Serve as a Kids Club site staff and work collaboratively with all team members.
- Support GSRP programming needs such as caregiving.
- Adhere to all GSRP and district policies as well as state licensing rules and guidelines.
- Be responsible for take down and set up of classroom at the beginning and end of school year.
- Maintain students health records and emergency data, in the classroom, in compliance with the Department of Human Services and Birmingham Public Schools.
- Work with the Districts Kids Club Supervisor when ordering supplies or equipment for the classroom.
- Support lunch programming and supervision of students.
