This will be a hybrid role based out of the Banfield Pet Hospital headquarters in Vancouver, WA. Summary and Qualifications: The Student Programs Manager will lead Student Programs team, overseeing Student Job, Extern, and Area Champion Programs. Partner with Veterinary Operations and Veterinary Affairs to ensure program excellence and positive student experiences to increase future pipeline of critical-need talent. Partner with Sr. Manager, Veterinary Relations and Manager, Academic Recruiting to lead the strategy and execution of early talent initiatives to achieve new graduate hiring goals and objectives. Essential Responsibilities and Tasks: + Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team. + Lead effective and efficient early talent initiatives that improve and bolster reputation to veterinary and veterinary technician students. + Oversee programs including establishing and implementing overall program design, criteria, requirements, change management, and training. + Supports and partners with the Talent Acquisition Recruiting team by creating and implementing effective program participant to DVM and CVT candidate conversion strategies. + Establish robust feedback loops and continually improve upon programs to meet evolving and increasing demands for critical talent pipelining. + Directly manage Student Programs team, providing direction and overseeing day-to-day work. + Manage and maintain vendor relationships with external vendors supporting student programs. + Collaborate with key stakeholders and CTS and in the field to effectively deliver objectives. + Develop and deliver reporting on key performance indicators for program outcomes. + Collaborate with veterinary and veterinary technician recruitment functions to drive program participant conversion. + Oversee development of program collateral, marketing materials, communication strategies and training materials. + Work is accomplished through networking and relationship building with key internal and external stakeholders including, VPVQs, DVQs, senior leaders, cross-organizational partners, academic institution and industry leaders, Talent Acquisition and Veterinary Affairs functions. + Be an active member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team, directing day-to-day work of the team to drive key strategic initiatives forward, including effective implementation in hospitals and continuous learning through feedback loops. + Directly manages recruitment process outsourcing contractor(s). + Comply with all policies and standards. + Other job duties as assigned. Experience, Education and/or Training: + Bachelor's degree in Organization/Program Development/Management or a related field is required, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. + Five years of experience in the Veterinary industry are required. + Two years of Talent Acquisition experience are required. + MS Office experience is required. Salary Range: The pay range for this role is $100,531 - $138,230. ? The pay range listed reflects a general hiring range for the area, with the specific rate determined based on the candidate's experience, skill level, abilities, and education, and may vary depending on location and schedule.
