    Job Summary and Responsibilities

    As our Student Rad Tech, you will gain hands-on experience, supporting diagnostic imaging to aid accurate patient diagnosis.

    Every day, you will assist in performing various imaging examinations (X-rays, CT, MRI), learning patient positioning, and contributing to positive patient experiences under supervision.

    To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn, attention to detail, excellent communication, and a foundational understanding of imaging principles, committed to mastering workflow and image quality.

    Performs limited diagnostic radiographic procedures. Radiographic procedures must not include CT, the use of contrast media, and mammographic equipment.

    Performs and ensures safe, knowledgeable age-specific patient care in a holistic manner.

    Provides patient education and responds to patient and customer concerns.

    Completes documentation of patient x-ray record and Quality Control processes.

    Performs value-added activities that result in positive financial performance and customer satisfaction.

    Job Requirements

    Required:

    • Current enrollment at the senior level in a school of Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), upon hire
    • Medical Radiographer Temporary: NE, upon hire
    • Limited Radiologic Technologist: NE, upon hire
    • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
