JOB SUMMARY
The Student Radiologic Technologist is an enrolled radiography student who performs diagnostic imaging procedures under the direct supervision of a licensed Radiologic Technologist. This role supports patient care by assisting with imaging exams while gaining hands-on clinical experience in compliance with ARRT educational standards, departmental policies, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
Reporting Structure: Works under the direct supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Radiology Director.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
Currently enrolled in an ARRT-approved Radiography Program (Associate or Bachelor degree).
Must be in good academic standing with the radiography program. Letter of good standing required from the Program Instructor.
Eligibility to sit for the ARRT Radiography Certification Exam upon program completion. Priority job placement is given at graduation and successful completion of registry if positions are available.
License/Certification
Current BLS (American Heart Association or equivalent), or ability to obtain prior to clinical start.

Ability to pass all required health and other screening tests including random and reasonable suspicion drug screens.
